PP biodegradable

Degradable‑Modified Polypropylene

Degradable‑modified polypropylene is generally formulated by adding bio‑based materials or adopting controllable‑degradation formulas, enabling conventionally non‑degradable PP to undergo structural breakdown or bio‑assimilation under specific environments. As a type of green plastic, degradable PP is blended with natural polymers such as starch and cellulose; its waste can be gradually decomposed into carbon dioxide and water in natural conditions.

Main Applications

Mainly used for disposable tableware, short‑term packaging materials, agricultural mulch films and selected medical consumables.
